Product Overview

Canon PowerShot SX720 HS is an entry-level 1/2.3" compact camera with a large zoom range. Introduced by Canon in 2016, it comes with a 1/2.3" sensor with 20 MP (5184 x 3888) resolution.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. The PowerShot SX720 HS's 5.9 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The SX720 HS comes with 9 autofocus points. Canon has endowed this compact camera with a 40x zoom lens, which can be quite useful for travels. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
