Product Overview

Sony RX100 IV is a affordable 1″ compact camera. Introduced by Sony in 2015, it comes with a 1" sensor with 20 MP (5472 x 3648) resolution and a 2.36 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the DSC-RX100 IV has a 125 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. The camera's 16.0 fps burst rate can serve professionals and enthusiasts equally well.
The RX100 IV comes with 25 autofocus points. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.

Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
RX100 Mark IV is one of the smallest traditional compacts with 4k video. Slow motion modes from 4x to 40x are simply fantastic. Good quality 1in sensor. Bright 24-70mm f1.8-2.8 lens range with ND filter. Great quality viewfinder which folds into body. Tilting screen flips-up to face subject for selfies and vlogging. Can recharge and power the camera over USB. E-shutter with 1/32000 max speed and low skewing.
Pros
  • Fantastic 4k video
  • 4k video and 4k movies
  • Great viewfinder
Cons
  • No touch-screen
