Product Overview

Sony RX100 VI is a high-end 1″ compact camera. Introduced by Sony in 2018, it comes with a 1" sensor with 20 MP (5472 x 3648) resolution and a 2.36 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the RX100 VI has a 125 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. Professionals and fanboys will be pleased by the extraordinary 24.0 fps burst rate that this camera can deliver.
The RX100 VI comes with 315 autofocus points. Those who intend to use the camera for video work will be glad to find that the camera comes with 4 stops of IBIS. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
The Sony RX100 VI is a high-end compact camera aimed at pros, enthusiasts and vloggers. It shares the same 20 Megapixel 1in sensor with confident phase-detect autofocus for stills and movies. There's also Bluetooth to complement the Wifi and a raft of pro video features. The biggest upgrade is the lens range, up from the 24-70mm of the Marks III, IV and V to a new 24-200mm zoom in a body that's only 1.8mm thicker.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lacks f/2.2 aperture
  • No telephoto zoom

Pros
  • Very good image quality
  • Touch-sensitive screen
  • Fast autofocus
Cons
  • Short zoom range
