Product Overview

Sony DSC-HX99 is a entry-level 1/2.3" compact camera with a large zoom range. Introduced by Sony in 2018, it comes with a 1/2.3" sensor with 18 MP (4896 x 3672) resolution and a 0.64 million-dot EVF.
It should be noted for having a 80 base ISO, which promises cleaner shots. The 10.0 fps burst rate serves enthusiasts well enough, though some professionals may find it limiting.
Sony has endowed this compact camera with a 30x zoom lens, which can be quite useful for travels. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
