Product Overview

Ricoh GR II is a APS-C compact camera with a prime lens. Introduced by Ricoh in 2015, it comes with an APS-C sensor with 16 MP (4928 x 3264) resolution.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. The GR II's 4.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The Ricoh GR II comes with 9 autofocus points. Interestingly, Ricoh has endowed this compact camera with a prime lens, which appeals to a distinctly different set of consumers than the usual point-and-shoot users. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
