Product Overview

Panasonic Lumix DC-LX100 II is a Four Thirds compact camera. Introduced by Panasonic in 2018, it comes with a four thirds sensor with 17 MP (4736 x 3552) resolution and a 2.76 million-dot EVF.
The camera has a poor battery life, and a second or third battery may be needed to get you through the day. One should note that the Lumix DC-LX100 II has a 200 base ISO, which is not conducive to getting the cleanest images. The 11.0 fps burst rate serves enthusiasts well enough, though some professionals may find it limiting.
The DC-LX100 II comes with 49 autofocus points. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
When shooting in JPG format you can push the camera all the way to ISO 25600 without dealing with too much noise. At ISO 12800 and 25600 details are smudged and blurred away. The internal microphone is serviceable, picking up voices clearly in a home environment. But it's not suitable for professional work.
Pros
  • Very good image quality
  • Sharp, stabilized lens
  • 4K video recording at up to 60fps
  • Autofocus works well
Cons
  • No weather protection
  • No EVF
