Olympus Stylus 1s is an entry-level 1/1.7" compact camera with a large zoom range. Introduced by Olympus in 2015, it comes with a 1/1.7" sensor with 12 MP (3968 x 2976) resolution and a 1.44 million-dot EVF.

The camera has a usable battery life, though a second battery may be a good thing to keep in your camera bag. The Olympus Stylus 1s's 7.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.

The Olympus Stylus 1s comes with 35 autofocus points. Olympus has endowed this compact camera with a 10.7x zoom lens, which can be quite useful for travels. Last but not least, the camera can focus quite close to the subject.
