  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Excellent build quality
Cons

The Pentax K-3 Mark III is a hotly anticipated release. It's an APS-C camera that costs more than some with full-frame sensors. Other cameras, including the Fujifilm X-T4, offer superior autofocus and uncropped 4K.
Pros
  • Compact, compact design
  • Excellent autofocus
  • Built-in LCD
Cons
  • No full-time continuous focus
  • No 4K video

The PENTAX K3 Mark III is good for landscape photography. It feels well-built, and its fixed screen is bright enough to overcome glare from the sun. Its advertised battery life is excellent, and it's weather-sealed to protect from rain, cold, and dust. Unfortunately, its autofocus performance is disappointing for photography.

  • Fantastic RAW noise handling capability
  • Very comfortable to use
  • Great image quality with impressive dynamic range
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • In-body image stabilization performance is disappointing for photography

  • Can only shoot at up to 60 fps in FHD
