Full-Frame CameraProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is a high-end DSLR camera in the Canon EF-mount system. Introduced by Canon in 2016, it comes with a full-frame sensor with 30 MP (6720 x 4480) resolution.
The camera has an excellent battery life, and you may just get away without a second battery. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV's 7.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV comes with 61 autofocus points and a built-in GPS.

cameralabs[1]
Reviewer score 83% (normalized by Neofiliac)Canon's EOS 5D Mark IV is the long-awaited fourth model in the enormously popular series of full-frame DSLRs. It boosts the resolution to 30.4 Megapixels with a new full- frame sensor that supports Dual Pixel CMOS AF for confident refocusing during Live View and movies. It accelerates continuous shooting from 6 to 7fps, inherits the 61-point AF system and 3.2in touch-screen of the EOS 1Dx Mark II, and can film 4k movies (in the DCI Cinema format) up to 30p.
Pros
- Full-frame sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF
- Improved weather-proofing
- Built-in GPS and Wifi
Cons
- No NFC
- No 4k video output

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)Price is one camera aspect that we always want to be lower. Canon has published an intimidatingly-huge, over-600-page owner's manual. The other current EOS models that should be considered include the EOS 5Ds /5Ds R. Canon repair service, though I seldom need it, is very fast and reliable.
Pros
- Excellent image quality for the price
- Excellent build quality
- Excellent support
Cons
- Price is a bit high
rtings[3]

Image quality is great, with a wide dynamic range, good color accuracy, and low levels of noise even at high ISO levels. It feels comfortable to hold and is also quite well-built, though its bulky construction can make it a hassle to carry handheld for long periods.
Pros
- Great image quality
- Decently-effective autofocus system
- Wide selection of ports and inputs for various videography accessories
Cons
- Bulky construction
- Disappointing rolling shutter effect
