Product Overview

Canon EOS Rebel T7i / 800D / Kiss X9i is an affordable DSLR camera in the Canon EF-mount system. Introduced by Canon in 2017, it comes with an APS-C sensor with 24 MP (6000 x 4000) resolution.
The camera has a good battery life, though it is nothing to write home about. The Rebel T7i's 6.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The EOS Rebel T7i comes with a fully articulated touch display and 45 autofocus points.

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
Canon EOS 800D, or Rebel T7i as it’s known in North America, is an upper entry-level DSLR, aimed at photographers wanting a step-up from the most basic models. Announced in February 2017, it effectively succeeds the EOS 750D / T6i, although that model will remain on sale in some regions. The 800D/T7i features a 24 Megapixel sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF.
Pros
  • Fully-articulated 3in screen
  • Improved low-light performance
  • Built-in Wifi
Cons
  • No telephoto zoom

digitalpicture[2]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitalpicture have found:
Is the EOS Rebel T7i the right camera for you? The answer to this question is of course going to be yes for a considerable volume of people, but looking at the alternatives is always a good idea. The next EOS DSLR higher in capabilities is the Canon EOS 80D. While improvements in image quality are not going to make T6i owners upgrade to the T 7i, the pair of new AF systems alone make the T7 a great upgrade.
Pros
  • Excellent image quality
  • Fast autofocus
  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent image stabilization
Cons
  • Not as light as the T6i

techradar[3]

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Canon EOS Rebel T7i / EOS 800D is an updated version of the T6i / 750D. The sensor has been overhauled and uses the same technology we've seen in the EOS 80D. Canon has opted to stick with the same 3.0-inch, vari-angle touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,040,000 dots.
Pros
  • Excellent handling and image quality
  • 5-axis image stabilization
  • 4K video capture
Cons
  • No vari-angle touchscreen
  • No headphone port
