Product Overview

Canon EOS Rebel SL2 (EOS 200D / Kiss X9) is an affordable DSLR camera in the Canon EF-mount system. Introduced by Canon in 2017, it comes with an APS-C sensor with 24 MP (6000 x 4000) resolution.
The camera has a good battery life, though it is nothing to write home about. The Rebel SL2's 5.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The EOS Rebel SL2 comes with a fully articulated touch display and 9 autofocus points.

cameralabs[1]

Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cameralabs have found:
Canon's EOS 200D / Rebel SL2 is a compact DSLR aimed at photographers and vloggers buying their first interchangeable lens camera. Replaces the four-year-old EOS 100D / SL1, it offers a more sophisticated point-of-entry than the cheapest DSLRs and a smaller body to boot. You get a choice of three body colours, a 24 Megapixel APSC sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF for smooth and confident refocusing in Live View and movies, a fully-articulated touchscreen, and Wifi with NFC and easy connectivity.
Pros
  • Superb point-of-entry
  • Wide range of body colours
  • Wireless remote control
Cons
  • Lack of advanced features
