Product Overview
Canon EOS 6D Mark II is a DSLR camera in the Canon EF-mount system. Introduced by Canon in 2017, it comes with a full-frame sensor with 26 MP (6240 x 4160) resolution.
The camera has an excellent battery life, and you may just get away without a second battery. The 6D Mark II's 6.5 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The EOS 6D Mark II comes with a fully articulated touch display, 45 autofocus points, and a built-in GPS.

External Reviews
cameralabs[1]
Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)The EOS 6D Mark II is a 'low-priced' full-frame DSLR aimed at enthusiasts and upgraders from APSC bodies. The photo and movie quality looks great with the default settings and delivers noticeably less noise than the 80D at high ISOs. The combination of a fully-articulated touchscreen and Dual Pixel CMOS AF means shooting movies or in Live View is a highlight with confident focusing anywhere on the frame. The viewfinder AF is less successful though with limited coverage and a lower hit rate.
Pros
- Fully-articulated touchscreen
- Excellent image quality
- Dual Pixel CMOS AF
Cons
- No 4k video
- No viewfinder
digitalpicture[2]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)Canon has published an intimidatingly-long 610-page owner's manual that highlights all of the features found on this camera and explains their use. The small size and light weight are highly desired traits of this camera. While the image quality, especially in low light, is stellar, it is the addition of the relatively low price that drove the original 6D's popularity.
Pros
- Lightweight, compact design
- Excellent image quality
- Compatible with a wide angle zoom lens
Cons
- Larger surface area than APS-C model
rtings[3]
Reviewer score 35% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Canon 6D Mark II is good for landscape photography. Images are sharp and mostly clear of visual noise when shooting at high ISO levels. It's bulky and has a heavy kit lens, making it difficult to carry around for extended recording sessions. It can't record in 4k, and its video quality in FHD is mediocre.
Pros
- Sharp, color-accurate, and mostly clear of visual noise
- Long maximum shutter speed
- Decent battery life
- Sturdy build quality
Cons
- Bulky design
- Poor video stabilization performance in FHD

Pros
- Improved sensor
- Improved image stabilization
Cons
