Product Overview
Canon EOS 4000D is an entry-level DSLR camera in the Canon EF-mount system. Introduced by Canon in 2018, it comes with an APS-C sensor with 18 MP (5184 x 3456) resolution.
The camera has a usable battery life, though a second battery may be a good thing to keep in your camera bag. The Canon EOS 4000D's 3.0 fps burst rate limits its use for certain types of photography, but it is hardly something that most photographers should worry about.
The Canon EOS 4000D comes with 9 autofocus points.

External Reviews
cameralabs[1]
Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)The EOS 4000D has a sensitivity range of 100 – 6400 ISO. For both movies and stills it’s well worth spending a little extra for the stabilised EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS II. The camera lacks continuous autofocus in movie mode, so you need to half press the shutter to focus before recording.
Pros
- Stabilised lens
- Good image quality
- Good battery life
Cons
- No continuous autofocus
- Limited effects filters
rtings[2]
Reviewer score 25% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Canon Rebel T100 is alright for travel photography. Images are sharp and low in graininess even at high ISO settings. However, it's somewhat bulky and not especially comfortable to use for extended periods. It also feels quite plasticky and, depending on your usage patterns, has short battery life.
Pros
- Great image quality
- Fast maximum shooting speed
- Good color accuracy
- Quick and consistent autofocus system
- Very good video stabilization performance
- Superb battery life
Cons
- Bulky design
- No headphone or microphone jacks
- Disappointing video quality in FHD
