As a wide-angle prime lens that is quite compact, the Voigtlander 28mm F2.8 Color Skopar SL II can be an interesting component of a prime-lens kit well adapted for travel. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
