    External Reviews

    pcmag[1]

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The TCL 43S435 is a 4K high dynamic range (HDR) TV with a 60Hz refresh rate. It lacks a pinhole microphone, so you can't use Roku voice search with it. With an HDR picture, the TV makes an admirable attempt to cover the color space. At $260 for a 43-inch model, it should appeal to anyone looking to get a decent TV.
    Pros
    • High-contrast picture with a 60Hz refresh rate
    • Supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice search
    Cons
    • Lacks a pinhole microphone
    • No Google Cast support

    Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
The TCL 4-Series Roku TV (S435) is a capable model that can handle 4K streaming content easily. Gamers, on the other hand, may want to consider this model for a number of reasons. It delivers a decent picture for the price, eliminating features many owners would probably find superfluous anyway.
    Pros
    • Excellent picture quality
    • Easy-to-use Roku software
    Cons
    • Lacks Dolby Atmos or DTS:X
    • No built-in DSP-created sound effects
