Product Overview

Samsung RU7300 is a mainstream 4K VA TV in Samsung's 2019 lineup. It is powered by a 10-bit VA panel and available in 49", 55", and 65" size classes.
A highlight of the Samsung RU7300 is a high screen-to-body ratio up to 94.28%. Additionally, it supports HDR formats including HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), and HDR10+. It performs exceptionally in delivering contrast.
In terms of drawbacks, the Samsung RU7300 has a slow 8.0 ms response time. It suffers from very low brightness.
The RU7300 has a rare 4200R curvature that provides a more immersive viewing experience. A much touted feature a decade ago, few new TVs come in a curved form factor, as it creates a "sweet spot".

rtings[1]

Reviewer score 24% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from rtings have found:
The Samsung RU7300 is an okay TV for most uses. Its VA panel can produce deep and uniform blacks, making it a good choice for dark room viewing. It has excellent low input lag for gaming, but it doesn't support any variable refresh rate technologies to reduce screen tearing. Unfortunately, it can only provide an okay HDR experience, as it can't get bright enough to make highlights pop.
Pros
  • Outstanding low input lag
  • Can get bright enough for a moderately-lit room
  • Decent reflection handling
Cons
  • Poor viewing angles
  • No local dimming feature
  • Mediocre response time
