Product Overview

Sony WG66 is an entry-level FHD VA TV in Sony's 2019 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit VA panel and available in 43" and 50" size classes.
Some highlights of the Sony WG66 include a high screen-to-body ratio up to 90.53% and high brightness. Additionally, it supports HDR formats including HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). It covers 95% of DCI-P3 color space, which is excellent news for those who appreciate color accuracy. It performs exceptionally in delivering contrast.
In terms of drawbacks, the Sony WG66 is limited to FHD, which to all intents and purposes is archaic. It has a slow 8.0 ms response time. The 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of image quality.
