Samsung C27T55 is a mid-range 27-inch FHD monitor with an extreme 1000R curvature with a sleek design that leads one to think it is a premium model. Its 8-bit VA panel with good, but not great, color and speed performance, however, gives the game away.
Like its smaller and larger siblings in the T55 series, the C27T55 has a little bit of everything for home and home office applications: It is faster than the standard 60Hz monitors, but the 75Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time are nothing to write home about. Its color accuracy is decent, but again 10-bit panels are much stronger on this front. Even though there is a VA panel, its 250 nits brightness is only just enough.
Over the smaller C24T55, however, the 27-incher comes with a pair of stereo speakers that many will appreciate.
