LG 32GN500 UltraGear is the most affordable 32-inch gaming monitor in LG's 2020 ("N") model year. It uses an 8-bit VA panel with 95% sRGB coverage that refreshes at 165Hz, while its downside lies in the FHD resolution.

Indeed, for those who only game at FHD, the 32GN500 may be an interesting choice, given its good compatibility with both G-Sync and FreeSync support, 1ms (MBR) response time, and the aforementioned 165Hz refresh rate.

The VA panel that it uses, while not the preferred choice for color-critical tasks, is more contrasty than IPS units, too.

Those who plan on gaming at a higher resolution can find more premium models in LG's "N" model year. A smaller, 27-inch model from 2019, 27GL650F, has similar specifications and may be an alternative for those with tighter desktop spaces.
