LG 24GN50W UltraGear is an entry-level 24-inch FHD gaming monitor in LG's 2020 ("N") lineup, though it came onto the market by the end of 2019. It follows the 24GL600F from the 2019 ("L") model year but does not come with many notable changes.
Like the 24GL600F, the 24GN50W uses an outdated TN panel with rather mediocre color reproduction and viewing angles. It is not particularly fast or bright, either. The included monitor stand, too, only has tilt adjustments.
Indeed, discerning observers will note that the 24GN50W is almost a carbon copy of the 24GL600F. The only difference is a slightly higher limit of the lower bound of the refresh rate variations (with FreeSync). In all practical terms, the two are the same monitor and the choice between them should be based solely on price.
