Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 6600 XT is a premium custom-design graphics card powered by a relatively low-end AMD RX 6600 XT GPU. Whereas the NITRO+ series usually feature a 3-fan design, the NITRO+ RX 6600 XT has only two fans. This echoes the cuts in PCIe lanes and memory bandwidth of the GPU.
As Sapphire clearly states, the NITRO+ RX 6600 XT is intended for FHD gaming. Hence, these cuts may be justified as the card is correspondingly priced much lower (if one can find it at MSRP). Like more premium NITRO cards, the RX 6600 XT has dual BIOS modes and supports automatic switching between them via software.
The card also features RGB lighting, while most competitors have omitted this feature for cards powered by the RX 6600 XT. It has an aluminum backplate that provides rigidity and an overall premium construction worthy of the NITRO name.
Naturally, the NITRO+ RX 6600 XT is factory-overclocked. For a less fancy build, one may explore the PULSE version of the RX 6600 XT by Sapphire, which has similar performance but may be acquired at a lower price (or not, YMMV).
