Product Overview
LG RN9 is the most powerful party speaker from the 2020 XBOOM lineup. Compared to smaller models from its generation, the RN9 comes with two 8" mid-woofers, though it has a 2-way setup and omits the separate midrange drivers found in the RN7.
Like other XBOOM party speakers, the RN9 comes with RGB lighting around the low-range drivers. It shares the same top control panel and wireless control (via phone) options with the smaller models, too. Two RN9s can be paired into a stereo system as a more powerful alternative to TVs.
Unsurprisingly, the RN9 supports karaoke and can be used as guitar speakers.
While the RN9 has ample power, it is still down in feature compared to more premium options from the likes of JBL and Sony.
