Product Overview

Logitech G435 LightSpeed is an affordable wireless gaming headset designed for young gamers. It comes in three colorful designs and promises a level of performance worthy of the Logitech G moniker.
The G435 LightSpeed uses 40mm dynamic drivers paired with dual internal beam-forming microphones. The microphone setup creates a virtual boom arm that rejects ambient noise while keeping the headset stylish: It is discreet enough for one to wear it as a pair of headphones on the street.
Also to note is that the G435 LightSpeed has more compact dimensions than other gaming headsets in Logitech G's current lineup. This is affirmed by Logitech's marketing as a decision to target younger consumers.
The G435 LightSpeed may be considered the wireless version of the G335 released earlier this year, though the two have rather different designs and feature set.
For those who want to spend a little more for higher performance, Logitech also markets the G733 LightSpeed wireless headset.

digitaltrends[1]

Reviewer score 55% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Logitech G435 Lightspeed has a few things going for it, such as its light weight, comfort, and Bluetooth support. However, unless you absolutely need a wireless headset for under $80, I would stay away from it and spend the same budget on a wired pair. The closest alternative is Razer's recently launched Barracuda X gaming headset, which costs $20 more.
Pros
  • Lightweight design
  • Comfortable earcups
  • Bluetooth support
Cons
  • Poor build quality
  • No boom mic

ndtv[2]

Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from ndtv have found:
The Logitech G435 Lightspeed has 40mm drivers which are able to output decent sound with good highs and lows for the most part. Voice quality is decent since the two microphones are close to where your mouth is. There is no active noise cancellation and the memory foam ear cups allow some outside sound to get in, making for inadequate passive noise isolation.
Pros
  • Comfortable fit
  • Good sound quality
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No 3.5mm audio connectivity
  • No G-Hub

t3[3]

Reviewers from t3 have found:
The Logitech G435 Lightspeed Wireless sounds good with games, with an accurate soundstage. It’s smaller, lightweight, comfortable to wear, and comes in fun colorways, making it ideal for those with smaller heads and, therefore, young gamers. While its sound quality is good enough for gaming, it isn’t the best one to have if you want something that does it all.
Pros
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre mic
  • No app support or customizations

tomsguide[4]

Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
As an adult male with a somewhat outsized head, the Logitech G435 was not a good fit for me. I tested the G435 on PC with Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition, Deathloop, Baldur's Gate III and Final Fantasy XIV. The sound was competent, but unremarkable, across the board.
Pros
  • Comfortable fit
  • Compatible with PlayStation consoles, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices
  • Decent sound quality
Cons
  • No surround sound
  • Mediocre mic

tomshardware[5]

Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Logitech G435's microphone did a good job of picking up my voice clearly in both online gaming and Bluetooth phone calls. The headset doesn't include any built-in 3D features or software, but Logitech touts compatibility with Dolby Atmos, Windows Sonic, and the PlayStation 5's Tempest 3D AudioTech. For $20 more you could have the Razer Barracuda X, which offers similar flexibility, but lacks Bluetooth connectivity.
Pros
  • Easy to use
  • Dual Bluetooth connectivity
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • Poor sound isolation
  • No built-in 3D features

trustedreviews[6]

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The Logitech G435 is one of the company’s smaller wireless gaming headsets. It offers great audio quality for both PC and PlayStation gamers. It connects via a USB-A port or Bluetooth, but lacks an audio jack. The battery life of the G435 was probably my biggest gripe. It managed just about 17 hours before requiring a recharge.
Pros
  • Great audio quality
  • Comfortable fit
  • Great battery life
Cons
  • Bulky design
  • No wireless charging
