HP Pavilion 15t-eg100 15.6"
LaptopProduct Gallery
Product Overview
HP Pavilion 15t-eg100 is an incremental update to the 15t-eg000 from late 2020. Like the latter, the Pavilion 15t-eg100 is powered by 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake processors, though the specific chips are clocked higher. HP will also provide Windows 11 when it finally arrives (which may not be the wisest thing to do).
Another difference is that the Pavilion 15t-eg100 has removed the (completely archaic) TN HD display option. Otherwise, this 2021 model appears to be a carbon copy of its predecessor.
A 15.6-inch consumer-grade laptop, the Pavilion 15t-eg100 is a sleek-looking option that may interest many consumers, especially considering the laptop's aggressive pricing and general availability in physical stores. However, it is not really cheaper than the better-built and better-equipped ENVY x360 15z-eu000, which seems to be a better buy indeed.

External Reviews
notebookcheck[1]
Reviewer score 47% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Precision clickpad is relatively large at 11.5 x 7.4 cm to be essentially the same as the clickpad on the pricier Envy 15 Creator. NumPad keys are narrower and therefore more cramped for larger fingers. Color coverage is limited to just 64 percent of sRGB to represent an entry-level display.
Pros
- Sleek, attractive design
- High-quality IPS display
- Good battery life
Cons
- Lackluster graphics performance
- No Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3
