Dell Inspiron 14 7415 14"
2-in-1Product Gallery
Product Overview
Dell Inspiron 14 7415 is a 14-inch 2-in-1 convertible laptop powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 U-series Cezanne processors with integrated graphics. It is the sister model of the Inspiron 14 5410 powered by Intel, though apparently Dell believes that the Ryzen chip outperforms the latter enough to warrant it being part of the Inspiron 7000-series.
Like the 5410, the Inspiron 14 7415 features a FHD touch display and a plastic + aluminum construction. Like all 2021 Inspiron models, the machine is sleek and offers a broad range of connectivity options, though the most powerful ones are missing (for which one would need to jump up to the XPS line).
Overall, it makes for an interesting consumer-grade multi-media laptop and is part of Dell's move to (finally) diversify its products with AMD chips in 2021.

digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 50% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Inspiron 14 2-in-1 is a difficult laptop to rate. It's well-built and looks good, and it provides excellent performance and long battery life. However, the display is a letdown, and that creates a dilemma. The Asus ZenBook 13 OLED UM325UA is one laptop that offers an outstanding display.
Pros
- Excellent performance and battery life
- Excellent build quality
- Good keyboard
Cons
- Display is a letdown
- No Thunderbolt 4
pcmag[2]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1's edge in processing cores proved more evident in our multimedia benchmarks. It and the Aero outpaced the Intel competition in most of our content creation tests. The Inspiron's four-cell, 54-watt-hour battery lasted for nearly 12 and a half hours.
Pros
- Sleek, premium aluminum chassis
- Solid performance for a 2-in-1
- Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
- Good battery life
Cons
- Display could be brighter
- Dim display
pcworld[3]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)Dell put a pretty nice keyboard into the Inspiron 14 2-in-1. While the touchpad surface is fairly smooth, it still has a bit more friction than what you’d find in higher-end laptops. Speaker quality is also a pleasant surprise, as it produces some of the loudest and punchiest audio you'll find on a Windows laptop.
Pros
- Strong performance for a 2-in-1
- Comfortable keyboard and touchpad
- Good battery life
Cons
- Dim display
- Mediocre trackpad
t3[4]
Reviewer score 53% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Inspiron 14 is a decent pick for this budget, with acceptable performance and build quality. It’s no gaming machine, though, and the compromises that keep the price down are evident in the flimsy keyboard and the screen that just can’t manage the brightness levels that make games and videos pop off the screen. The Dell XPS 13 is a definite step up from the Inspiron, but it costs nearly double the price.
Pros
- Gorgeous OLED screen
- Comfortable keyboard
- Decent battery life
Cons
- Keyboard flexes slightly
- Dim display
