Product Overview

Dell Inspiron 15 3511 is an entry-level 15.6-inch laptop in the 2021 Inspiron lineup. It is powered by 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake low-powered processors, with integrated graphics being the only type available.
As part of the Inspiron 3000-series, the Inspiron 15 3511 is made for price-sensitive consumers. It has just enough for general computing with today's software and network requirements.
Nevertheless, the Inspiron 15 3511 has a FHD display, full-size HDMI port as well as SD card reader, and the option to go up to an i7 processor (which does not match the characteristic of the machine).
For whom every penny counts, Dell also markets the Inspiron 15 3510, which is visually identical to the 3511 but is even weaker inside.
The predecessor of the Inspiron 15 3511 is the Inspiron 15 3501.

External Reviews

notebookcheck[1]

Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
The system is very quiet under most day-to-day loads such as web browsing or video streaming. Graphics performance is 30 to 45 percent slower than the average laptop in our database equipped with the same integrated Iris Xe 80 EUs GPU. The Inspiron 15 3511 is perhaps one of the easiest budget laptops to service and upgrade.
Pros
  • Sleek, attractive design
  • Very quiet under high loads
  • Very good battery life
Cons
  • No USB Type-C port
  • No Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C ports
  • Only one USB-A port

pcmag[2]

Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
The Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (3511) is a solid, if unremarkable, 15-inch budget laptop. It improves on many of the issues we had with the previous 3505 model. The lack of a USB-C port, the subpar speakers, and the dim display are one of the better drawbacks.
Pros
  • Sleek, light design
  • Good battery life
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • Dim display
  • No USB Type-C port
