Product Overview

Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7610 is a sleek 16-inch laptop powered by 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake processors. One of the first Dell laptops to move back to the 16:10 aspect ratio, the Inspiron 16 Plus gives us hints at the direction that Dell will take its mainstream laptops in the coming years.
As the 7610 model number suggests, the Inspiron 16 Plus is a cut above the 5000- and 3000-series machines: Its main selling is a 3K IPS AG panel with 100% sRGB coverage. While integrated graphics come standard, buyers have the option to go with an NVIDIA RTX 3050 discrete GPU that will accelerate certain tasks.
Other features that lesser consumer-grade machines can only envy include Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and full-size HDMI 2.0 port, and a 2/3-inch thin aluminum chassis.
The Inspiron 16 Plus 7610 is a compelling alternative to Lenovo's IdeaPad 5i Pro and 5 Pro.

laptopmag[1]

Reviewer score 59% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The Dell Inspiron 16 is packing heavier hardware than most consumer premium laptops. It's packed with a 3K display and a discrete GPU with 4GB of VRAM. The battery life could be better, but it’ll still get you through a workday. You can opt for the Surface Laptop Studio, which will provide a better display.
Pros
  • Stylish design
  • Comfortable keyboard
  • Strong performance
Cons
  • Poor battery life
  • Mediocre speakers

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 66% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
Fan noise will typically top out at just 33 dB(A) temporarily during less demanding activities like browsing or video streaming. Surface temperatures are on the warm side likely due to the lethargic fans mentioned above. Audio quality from the integrated speakers isn't so hot. Port options are generous, servicing is relatively easy, and the matte 3K display tops it all off.
Pros
  • Matte 3K display
  • Good battery life
  • Strong performance for the price
Cons
  • Loud fan noise when gaming
  • No Thunderbolt 3

Pros
  • Sleek, attractive design
  • Excellent performance
  • Excellent battery life
Cons
  • No touchpad or touchpad support
  • No Thunderbolt 3
