Tab P11 5G is a somewhat surprising attempt by Lenovo to refresh its premium tablet from last year with the addition of 5G, alongside several other hardware upgrades. Surprising, because Lenovo just unveiled its new flagship for 2021, the Tab P12 Pro, with considerably richer feature upgrades.

Compared to the Tab P11, the new 5G variant is slightly thicker and heavier; in return, owners get not only 5G connectivity but also a faster chipset, more ram, and more storage space. One could argue that the Tab P11 5G is a new model in the chassis of the P11 but slotted between P11 and P12.

As such, on the outside the P11 5G is virtually indistinguishable from the P11: It has a 5:3 IPS display surrounded by four JBL speakers. There is support for QC 3.0 Quick Charge, and the tablet has cameras on both sides. The front camera is also complemented by a Time-of-Flight sensor, which is perhaps the only exterior difference from last year's model.
