Samsung EVO Plus microSD Card

Samsung's new EVO Plus line of microSD cards is the follow-up to the EVO Plus SD cards unveiled in 2020. Remarkably, these microSD cards not only come with the same speed rating but also deliver higher sequential read speeds than their full-size brethren.

Designed for content creators and consumers for use in cameras, camcorders, smartphones, and PCs, EVO Plus microSD cards are relatively performant and rather durable. These are UHS-I Class 10 cards that deliver up to 130MB/s sequential read speed. For even higher performance, one would need to step up to Samsung's PRO Plus line of microSD cards introduced at the same time.

The EVO Plus microSD cards are toughened with water, temperature, X-ray, magnet, drop, and wearout (up to 10,000 wipes) proofs. They come with a 10-year limited warranty.

Each EVO Plus microSDXC card comes with a SD adapter. Considering that no compromise is involved in performance or durability, one may as well purchase these cards over the full-size EVO Plus SD cards when needed without much afterthought. Still, the simple full-size EVO Plus SD cards are still cheaper.
