Reviewer score 80% (normalized by Neofiliac)With the Smart Soundbar 900, you can create a whole-home audio solution with other Bose wireless speakers, Bluetooth speakers, and headphones. If you choose Amazon Alexa as your voice assistant, Bose offers a clever Alexa-only way to control your TV and cable set-top box with voice commands. Bose may not offer the same level of music control as Sonos, but its multiroom control is excellent.
Pros
- Excellent multiroom audio
- Works with Alexa and Google voice assistants
- Easy to set up and use
Cons
- No Dolby Atmos support
- No built-in remote

Reviewer score 58% (normalized by Neofiliac)The dialogue is very crisp and clear but overall there’s a touch of murkiness added to the scene that isn’t there when delivered by the Sonos Arc. Swapping to the first race of Ready Player One, in Dolby Atmos, everything sounds much tighter and more coherent. Just when you want and expect the soundbar to kick into another gear, it falters, apparently having run out of dynamic headroom. However, if you’re looking for the ultimate premium Atmos soundbar, we’d suggest spending very small amount of money for the added height.
Pros
- Gorgeous, expansive soundstage
- Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ support
Cons
- Muddiness and muddiness
- Lack of dynamic headroom
