Product Overview

Xiaomi Redmi 10 is a low-price smartphone with a strong camera setup and a large 6.5" FHD+ display with Adaptive Sync support. Slotted for the sub-$200 segment, it indeed brings features that could only be found in premium phones from just a couple of years ago.
Powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with a 12nm architecture, the Redmi 10 is not designed for all-out performance. Nevertheless, it has up to 6GB of LPDDR4X memory, 128GB of eMMC 5.1 SSD, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
A key point of interest of the Redmi 10 is its retainment of the 3.5mm headphone jack, though Xiaomi is quiet about the DAC used.
Like its predecessor, we can expect the Redmi to be joined by derivative models down the line with a similar punch-hole display and multi-camera design.

Reviewer score 52% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from gsmarena have found:
The Redmi 10 is available only to select markets and is sold via AliExpress. There's no EIS, even at 1080p, and we kind of expected it to offer some sort of stabilization. The phone also lacks NFC so contactless payments are a no-go. It's just not the clear-cut go-to phone to get for affordability.
Pros
  • 90Hz display
  • Good battery life
  • 90Hz refresh rate
  • Good camera performance
Cons
  • No NFC
  • No stereo speakers

notebookcheck[2]

Reviewer score 53% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
Xiaomi Redmi 10 is a good budget smartphone that can compete with more expensive devices in terms of looks. The 6.5-inch device is available for less than 200 Euros (~$231), its performance is also good. The octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC provides sufficient performance for everyday tasks. A reliable fingerprint sensor and good stereo speakers, which are still the exception in the budget segment, are also part of the package.
Pros
  • 90 Hz display
  • Fast Wi-Fi 5
  • Good stereo speakers
  • Decent battery life
Cons
  • Mediocre cameras
  • No 5G

techradar[3]

Reviewer score 41% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a 5,000mAh battery, much like most of its arch rivals. General performance is okay, with some common caveats that come with an entry-level CPU. This phone does have some more obvious issues with gaming, particularly when compared to a slightly more expensive barnstormer like the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro.
Pros
  • Decent performance
  • Decent battery life
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Slow eMMC storage
  • Poor gaming performance
