ASUS ROG Strix RX 6600 XT is a factory-overclocked dual-fan graphics card based on AMD's new entry-level RX 6600 XT GPU, which offers a more affordable entry point to the RX 6000-series based on the RDNA 2 architecture.
Unlike more affordable alternatives based on the same GPU, this ROG Strix card features some design and engineering elements that warrant its name: Its twin axial-tech fans and a substantial heatsink gives the graphics card sufficient thermal headroom. It also comes with RGB lighting on its shroud as well as a metal backplate.
Still, the positioning of the RX 6600 XT means that this graphics card is intended purely for light gaming. Its core count, memory bandwidth and capacity, and frequency are all down significantly from the RX 6700 XT, which is the next step up. It also only uses 8 lanes of PCIe 4.
