Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic
SmartwatchProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic is a premium smartwatch with a design similar to its predecessor. Still, the Galaxy Watch4 Classic now features higher-resolution displays in two sizes. Those who wish for a more minimalist design in a smaller, lighter case with otherwise identical features can look at the Galaxy Watch4 unveiled at the same time.
The Galaxy Watch4 Classic retains the popular rotating bezel from previous watch models: With just a turn of the bezel, you can easily toggle between widgets, open apps and scroll through notifications. It now has new sensors for more extensive health tracking, including blood pressure, blood oxygen level, and body composition measurements.
The Watch4 Classic boasts up to 40 hours of battery life, which can be extended via fast charging. It is thoroughly water- and dust-proof and is available in multiple colors.

digitaltrends[1]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is a superb successor to the Watch 3. It's fun to use due to the rotating bezel, and the smartwatch's comfort and toughness mean you can wear it all day long without a problem. Wear OS 3 shows plenty of promise, but it's disappointing to still see the old problems of not all notifications arriving and not all apps being available or always working properly on the watch.
Pros
- Excellent battery life
- Excellent fitness tracking
- Solid build quality
Cons
- Wear OS 3 still needs work

Samsung has introduced a snoring detection feature, which uses your smartphone's microphones to record you as you sleep. SpO2 readings on the watch were always above 95 percent which is the right range for a healthy individual.

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)Samsung's Watch4 Classic and its more affordable sibling are the best Android-compatible smartwatches on the market, hands down. The $349.99 Classic model features a rugged stainless steel design with a rotating bezel that's a pleasure to use. The Watch4 series can automatically detect walking, running, elliptical usage, rowing, swimming, and dynamic workouts.
Pros
- Robust stainless steel design with rotating bezel
- Accurate sleep tracking
- Robust Wear OS software
Cons
- Limited battery life
- Limited app support
techradar[4]
Reviewer score 53% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic marks the debut of Wear OS 3, a new version of Google's smartwatch operating system designed in cooperation with Samsung. There's a wide range of health features, which you can access by swiping through the tiles, with heart rate, sleep, stress, blood oxygen and body composition measuring. The 42mm watch has a 247mAh battery while the 46mm model has a 361mAh power pack, so despite the different screen sizes we'd expect them to last roughly the same amount of time.
Pros
- Affordable price
- Lots of fitness features
- Good battery life
Cons
- Wear OS 3 is fiddly to use
- Not compatible with iPhones
