Product Overview
Oppo 5G CPE T1a is an upgrade over the original 5G CPE T1 5G WiFi 6 router. It uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem but now supports more 5G frequency bands.
The router's overall performance as well as management console is improved. As tradeoffs, the T1a has half the memory and storage, both down to 512MB from 1GB, loses one of the LAN port as well as the USB 2.0 port, and no longer offers external antenna port.
It still uses Oppo's O-Reserve antenna setup with 8 built-in antennae among which the router automatically chooses 4 with the best gains to communicate with the base station by 4x4 MIMO.
