MSI Summit E16 Flip is the new flagship of MSI's Summit series business laptops. Designed in the same language of the Summit E15 A11 unveiled late last year, it adds the flexibility of a 2-in-1 convertible laptop and introduces the 16:10 aspect ratio to the lineup, offering a significant increase in viewing area without incurring a size penalty.
Like other Summit laptops on the market in mid-2021, the E16 Flip is powered by a 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake low-powered processor, in this case the i7-1195G7, which is the highest-clocked CPU in the U-series. Unlike the models unveiled in late 2020, however, the E16 Flip boasts NVIDIA's RTX 3050 / 3050 Ti discrete graphics, which offers dramatic boost in performance over older chips.
I/O-wise, the Summit E16 Flip is similar to the E15, offering dual Thunderbolt 4 and full-size HDMI. However, its wireless connectivity options are upgraded to WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, the latest industry standards available. Its memory is also switched out to the soldered LPDDR4X variant, which presumably is what allows MSI to pack all the new goodies in a chassis the same size of the E15.

Reviewer score 74% MSI Summit E16 Flip is a great-looking and well-built convertible 2-in-1. It's large and uncomfortable as a tablet, but that’s to be expected with such an expansive display. The keyboard is very good, but the touchpad is way too small given the available real estate.

Reviewer score 65%The Summit E16 Flip features a 16-inch QHD+ display that can detect 10 different touch inputs. The display also features MPP2.0 technology and has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity when using the included MSI Pen. Even with such a thin and light device, MSI managed to pack in a 82Whr battery that it claims is capable of lasting 11 hours on a single charge. In our real world testing though, we managed to get just under eight hours of battery life with the brightness turned down.
