Gaming LaptopProduct Gallery
Product Overview
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603 is a high-end, ultra-thin 16-inch gaming laptop that is also surprisingly powerful. It boasts 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake i9-11900H processor paired with NVIDIA's RTX 30-series GPU up to RTX 3070 as well as a gorgeous 16:10 WQXGA (QHD+) display with an industry-leading 94% screen-to-body ratio.
This display panel offers 165Hz maximum refresh rate and 3ms response time and covers 100% of DCI-P3 color space. It further supports Dolby Vision HDR. Naturally, variable framerate in the form of Adaptive-Sync is support as well. It is buttressed by another industry-leading feature in the 6-speaker setup with dual tweeters and quad woofers.
Power-wise, consumers can also find the latest and greatest from Intel and NVIDIA jam-packed into a chassis the size of yesteryear's ultra-thin 15" laptops.
I/O options are complete in the ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603, too. Not only is Thunderbolt 4 included, but we can also find full-size HDMI and RJ45 Ethernet connections already onboard. There is further support for PCIe 4 SSD.
A rather similar laptop released earlier this year is the ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503: ASUS essentially eliminated its bottom bezel and packed the 16:10 16-inch panel into the same chassis.

External Reviews
laptopmag[1]
Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is packed with an Intel Core i9-11900H processor. It had no problem tearing through 40 Google Chrome tabs and five 1080p YouTube videos. After gaming for 15 minutes, the underside hit 125 degrees Fahrenheit, far above the 95-degree comfort threshold.
Pros
- Gorgeous 14-inch display
- Sleek design
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Below-average battery life
- Mediocre webcam
ndtv[2]
Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Zephyrus M16 runs well even on lower-end hardware. You can in fact run today's most demanding games at very reasonable settings. You'll use an external mouse for most gaming situations, but things can still get uncomfortable. The top edge of the laptop's lower half, where hot air is ejected through the hinge, can become too hot to touch for a second.
Pros
- Slim and light
- High-quality 16:10 display
- Good battery life
- Decent gaming performance
Cons
- Very loud fans
notebookcheck[3]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is for those who are looking for a 16:10 gaming laptop. The Asus notebook offers a larger screen size than a typical 15-inch laptop, the display is very bright, colour-accurate and fast. With a 2 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM, the Zeph Cyrus is suited for any task. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 can easily handle all the latest games on high settings.
Pros
- Matte 16:10 display
- Fast Wi-Fi
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre CPU performance
- No Thunderbolt 3
t3[4]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 (GU603) has everything you need from a gaming laptop including plenty of power, a large-high-quality display and plenty of storage. To unlock the laptop, you can choose between the usual pins and passwords, but you also get a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. To power it through the day, there's a 90Wh battery with Fast Charge technology, it seemed to last plenty of time with lighter, more casual use but when you start playing games it drains much more quickly.
Pros
- Gorgeous 16:10 screen
- Powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Poor battery life
- No RGB lighting
theverge[5]
Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is an excellent chassis that’s sturdy and sleek. The keyboard is great, and the touchpad is massive, with a smooth surface and a very easy click. The M16 provides a weaker battery and a significantly worse experience than comparably priced AMD systems.
Pros
- Superb 16:10 display
- Excellent keyboard and touchpad
- Excellent performance
- Great webcam
Cons
- Poor battery life
- No Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C ports
tomshardware[6]
Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is long-lasting when it comes to gaming laptop battery life. It has four configurations listed on its website, though we could only find two of those configurations in store for now. Its steep $1,849 price point and mixed performance make it difficult to pick over competing models.
Pros
- Gorgeous 16:10, 2560 x 1600 display
- Sleek design
- Good battery life
Cons
- Mediocre performance
- No webcam
