Product Overview
LG Eclair QP5 is the most compact soundbar in LG's 2021 lineup. A 3.1.2-channel unit, it has five drivers in the minute main soundbar and a single driver in the wireless subwoofer, delivering a total of 320W of output.
Despite its small size, the Eclair QP5 supports most modern surround sound processing protocols, even though it does not come with rear or side channels. What it does have are two front height channels.
Unlike other, conventionally-sized soundbars, the Eclair QP5 does not support WiFi and cannot be paired with LG's wireless rear speakers. It also misses the Meridian Audio technology. Voice assistance is also missing.
For those who are satisfied with a compact soundbar, nevertheless, the Eclair QP5 makes for an interesting alternative to the SP7Y.
