Product Overview

ASUS VivoBook S14 S435 is a midrange ultra-thin 14-inch laptop. It is positioned to be a more affordable alternative to the ZenBook 14 Ultralight UX435, sharing with it most of the feature set but encased in a thicker chassis.
The VivoBook S14 S435 is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core Tiger Lake low-powered processors. It features ASUS's unique NumberPad 2.0 touchpad, which is again a step-down from the UX435.
Thanks to the new Intel processor, the VivoBook S435 features Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and the latest Intel Iris Xe graphics.
For those who prefer to trade some of the portability for a lower price point, ASUS also markets in the 14-inch class VivoBook S14 S433 and M433.

Reviewer score 68% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The Asus VivoBook has a 14in IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It uses a quad-core Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with base and boost speeds of 2.4GHz and 4.2GHz. The panel’s contrast ratio of 1462:1 is a great result for an IPS display. The peak brightness of 395 nits is good for indoor use, but not bright enough for bright sunlight.
Pros
  • Great value for money
  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent keyboard and touchpad
Cons
  • Sluggish performance
