Product Overview

SteelSeries Prime Wireless is a premium wireless ergonomic right-handed mouse designed for gaming. Built like the Prime and Prime+ unveiled at the same time, the Prime Wireless has the same physical design, while its SteelSeries TrueMove Air sensor is specifically designed for wireless mice.
The TrueMove Air optical sensor supports CPI adjustments up to 18,000. It comes with true 1-to-1 tracking without hardware acceleration. To optimize battery life, however, its maximum speed and acceleration are comparatively lower than its wired siblings.
This sensor is paired with Prestige OM optical mechanical switches that are more consistent and durable, rated for 100 million clicks. The Prestige OM switch uses a neodymium magnet to achieve consistency, while the optical IR sensor ensures durability and fast response time.
The calling card of the Prime Wireless is obviously its wireless connectivity, which in this case supports over 100 hours of continuous gameplay at 1000Hz sampling rate. With fast charging, it can add up to 40 hours of gameplay in just 15 minutes.

The SteelSeries Prime Wireless is designed to last over 100 hours of uninterrupted 1000Hz gameplay on a single charge. Gaming with the mouse felt super smooth and easy despite there not being many buttons to work with beyond the standard set up. The mouse wheel isn't anything special, which is disappointing for a mouse priced this high, but it is comfortable and well placed.
Pros
  • Lightweight design
  • Easy to use
  • 100 hours of uninterrupted battery life
Cons
  • No grip
  • Clickers are stiff

The SteelSeries Prime Wireless is a strong wireless esports mouse. It's light, it's accurate, and it has a good shape and very little clutter. The plastic body has a “rough matte” finish, which acts like a grip for the entire surface. A strong, stable 2.4GHz wireless connection keeps the Prime Wireless connected.
Pros
  • Lightweight and comfortable
  • Strong wireless connectivity
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No dongle storage
  • No three-pip indicator

  • Good number of buttons you can program using the companion software that's compatible with Windows and macOS

On a single charge, battery life is around 100 hours.
Pros
  • Excellent gaming performance
  • Excellent battery life
