Product Overview
Dell UltraSharp Webcam is the first standalone webcam in Dell's new effort in expanding its computer peripherals lineup. It feature a 8.3MP color sensor sourced from Sony that supports video conferencing at 4K UHD.
Encased in a premium anodized aluminum chassis, the UltraSharp Webcam comes with a stand that clips on top of the monitor, though it can also be mounted independent of the clip.
This webcam not only features autofocus but is also able to frame the video automatically to keep you at the center. With its 8.3MP sensor, which is just enough for 4K video, the UltraSharp Webcam further supports digital zoom by throwing away pixels outside the frame.
Another highlight is the cap that attaches in place to protect the owner's privacy.

Reviewer score 91%The 4K Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor is large, allowing it to capture more light than your average webcam. With a camera this swanky, you know you're going to get great software and Dell Peripheral Manager does not disappoint. However, $200 is a lot to ask for a webcam, especially one without a microphone.

Cons
- Poor color accuracy

Reviewer score 83%The Dell UltraSharp Webcam can capture excellent video, but you need to know exactly what you're getting into. There's no microphone, so you'll probably want a USB mic or headset to capture your voice. For $70 less than the Poly Studio P5, the UltraSharp has a surprisingly good microphone.

Pros
- Excellent image quality
- Auto-focus, auto-white balance, and face-tracking auto-framing
Cons
- Doesn't capture audio on its own
- No microphone
t3[3]
Reviewer score 84%The Dell UltraSharp Webcam is one of the best webcams on the market. It has a solid build with a handy magnetic mount system making it fast to swap between the screen and tripod mounts. The large sensor and lens array creates a crisp, detailed image with natural-looking color and well controlled noise. The feature set is also impressive, from the field of view options to the proximity sensor and of course the AI tracking. The only criticisms here are the lack of audio and lack of Mac driver.

tomshardware[4]
Reviewer score 80%The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam is an easy new champion in the realm of premium webcams. Unlike most monitor mounts, this webcam's monitor mount doesn't have any feet on it. The way the camera's mounts magnetically attach to it also doesn't let the camera swivel. There's no microphone, but most webcam microphones are so low quality.

- Easy-to-use webcam app
- Easy to use

- No webcam swivel
