Product Overview
Sonus faber Lumina CI is a center-channel loudspeakers in the company's new entry-level Lumina collection. Compared to the comparable model in Sonus faber's previous entry point, the Sonetto Center I, the Lumina CI loses the unique Lute shape; still, it retains the leather details and is made in Italy.
The Lumina CI features a 2-way bass-reflex design with two 120mm paper cone mid-woofers and a 29mm DAD tweeter. It is built into a minimalist cabinet with real wood front baffles in three designs: Walnut and Wenge in matte with maple inlays and glossy Piano Black. The cabinet is wrapped in leather everywhere else.
Priced at well under $1k, the Lumina CI is by far the most affordable option for home theatre applications from the storied Italian marque.
Other loudspeakers in the Lumina collection include two floorstanders, Lumina V and Lumina II, and two bookshelf speakers, Lumina II and Lumina I.
