Product Overview
Huawei Sound is an in-door wireless speaker with a clean, simple design. A cheaper alternative to the Sound X, it similarly features Devialet's unique speaker setup and digital processing prowess.
Compared to the Sound X, it similarly comes with 512MB or RAM and 8GB of storage. While the number of drivers have been reduced, the Huawei Sound supports more recent Bluetooth LDAC codec. The compromise can be found in low-frequency performance, as evidenced in the speaker's narrower frequency response.
The Sound uses an intuitive touch interface and can be connected both wired and wirelessly.

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Huawei Sound is a compact Bluetooth speaker developed with Devialet. It has two passive bass radiators which resonate with the woofer to deliver robust bass tones while suppressing membrane distortion. It's great for bass-heavy music like drum and bass and generally any EDM (electronic dance music) However, it's not particularly well suited to all other genres. The three smaller drivers provide excellent clarity at the top-end so delicate instruments like a classical guitar sound crystal clear.
