Product Overview
Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is a premium smartphone with an emphasis on camera-performance. Slotted above the standard Reno4, the Reno4 Pro 5G comes with a slightly larger display and more powerful camera setup.
Like the Reno4, the Reno4 Pro 5G uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G chipset. It also supports SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charging. Over the Reno4, it also boasts upgrades in the ultra-wide camera as well as the addition of a telephoto unit.
On the compromise side, the Reno4 Pro 5G loses the 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio tuner.
Two other models in Oppo's Reno4 series include the Reno4 5G and Reno4 Z 5G.

androidauthority[1]
Reviewer score 55% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo Reno 4 Pro is priced at Rs. 34,999 in India, which makes it rather pricey for a mid-range option. There's nothing particularly wrong with the hardware here, but the Snapdragon 720G chipset just doesn't pack the oomph you'd expect for the money. Audio quality is great and you won't be disappointed if you use high-quality headphones.
Pros
- Great battery life
- Fast 65W charging
- Good cameras
Cons
- No telephoto lens
- Poor low light performance
techadvisor[2]
Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo's Reno 4 Pro 5G is a stellar smartphone in every regard. It's nice to look at, nice to use, powerful, has a capable trio of cameras and the latest features in a high refresh rate display, 5G and super-fast 65W charging. While the £699 price tag seems just about competitive, unless you're sure you need this exact recipe of design and performance.
Pros
- Top-notch performance
- Superb battery life
- Super-fast 65W charging
Cons
- No IP rating
- No wireless charging
techradar[3]
Reviewer score 67% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Reno 4 Pro 5G runs Oppo's latest Android OS. It has Dolby Atmos support for enhanced audio and some audio modes. There's no headphone jack, so you'll have to rely on the bundled USB-C earphones or find a pair of Bluetooth ones (or an adapter) for all your audio needs. No microSD card slot means you won't be able to expand its built-in storage.
Pros
- Good battery life
- Solid performance
- Solid build quality
Cons
- No microSD card slot
- No headphone jack
trustedreviews[4]
Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Oppo Reno 4 Pro is a great point and shoot device. However, an extra level of scrutiny may leave camera aficionados looking elsewhere. Oppo is doing a lot with its AI capabilities and little adjustments of camera positioning can often lead to very different photos. The 4000 mAh battery manages to get you to the end of the day without that evening stretching act before bedtime.
Pros
- Incredible battery life
- Super-fast charging
- Superb performance
Cons
- Camera isn’t great
- No wireless charging
