Product Overview

Oppo Reno4 5G is a midrange smartphone slotted to be a camera-focused model. Sharing its chassis largely with the Reno3, the Reno4 comes with an upgraded chipset.
Like the Reno3, the Reno4 5G comes with a tri-camera setup at the rear and two-camera setup at the front. The difference is that the selfie cameras now reside in a "punch hole" rather than a notch.
The main upgrade for 2020 is the newer Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset. The Reno4 5G also supports SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charging.
Other notable features include built-in FM tuner and 6.43-inch OLED display.
Two other models in Oppo's Reno4 series include the Reno4 Z 5G and Reno4 Pro 5G.

Reviewer score 41% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from nextpit have found:
, slightly higher than the touted values mentioned by Oppo. With a full battery charge, the smartphone will last for a long time thanks to the large 4,000 milliampere-hour battery. While the call quality for phone calls is OK, the mono speaker is horrible when it comes to mobile games or videos. Although the maximum volume is decent, the sound is very tiny and lacks bass.
Pros
  • 90 Hz display
  • Good battery life
  • Decent cameras
Cons
  • No wireless charging
  • No IP rating
  • Mediocre speaker

techradar[2]

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from techradar have found:
Oppo Reno 4 5G has a 48MP f/1.7 main camera and an ultra-wide 8MP depth sensor. It's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G processor, which also powers the Motorola Razr 2020 and the Google Pixel 5. 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM means plenty of space, but there's no microSD card slot within this mid-ranger.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Excellent battery life
  • Solid performance
Cons
  • No optical zoom camera
  • Mediocre low-light camera
