Product Overview
Oppo Reno3 is a midrange smartphone that follows the original Oppo Reno released in 2019. It comes with an upgrade in the main cameras but is suspiciously similar to the original model.
While the original Reno had only a 48MP main camera that was noteworthy, the quad-camera setup on the Reno3 offers also a 13MP telephoto and 8MP wide-angle units that many will value. It supports a 108MP Ultra Clear Mode that stiches multiple shots into a high-resolution image that is notably cleaner.
The 44MP selfie camera on the Reno3 offers one of the highest resolution available for a selfie unit.
Other features from the original Reno has been largely retained. This includes an under-display fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio tuner. The Reno3 also upgrades the fast charging to 30W.

Reviewer score 40% (normalized by Neofiliac)Oppo Reno3 is well equipped with 128 GB mass storage, and it also has a brisk UFS 2.1 memory. Even 8 GB of RAM is a decent amount for this price range. The main lens offers up to 48 megapixels, but is probably also used in the 12 megapixel mode. Videos can be recorded in 4K and at 30 fps at maximum, but only with the main lens.
Pros
- Bright AMOLED display
- Good battery life
- Decent cameras
Cons
- Mediocre performance
- No microSD reader
