Samsung HW-Q65T 7.1-Channel
SoundbarProduct Gallery
Product Overview
Samsung HW-Q65T is a 7.1-channel soundbar with wireless subwoofer and wireless rear speakers. It is essentially the HW-Q60T from 2020 with a smaller subwoofer and bundled SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers.
A unique model, the HW-Q65T has the "T" designation for 2020 model year, despite being released in 2021 (which can be identified with the suffix "A"). Perhaps it is an attempt to unload surplus stock in a repackaged format.
Nevertheless, for those who have no need for Dolby Atmos, the HW-Q65T makes more sense than Dolby Atmos-enabled Q-series Samsung soundbars that fill the 2021 lineup. The added rear speakers are more valuable for most contents. Another compromise is the loss of WiFi connectivity.
