Product Overview
HW-S50A is an entry-level 3.0-channel all-in-one soundbar in Samsung's 2021 lineup. It replaces the HW-S40T from last year by adding a third, center channel.
Unlike the HW-S40T, the HW-S50A supports Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 just like the 5.0-channel HW-S60A, compared to which it loses the side-firing horn speakers but is otherwise identical.
A unique aspect of the HW-S50A is its deep grey color, as all other 2021 Samsung soundbars are black.
The HW-S50A is compatible with Samsung's new SWA-9100S wireless rear speakers to provide surround sound experience.
