LG UHD 87 is an advanced 4K TV in LG's 2021 UHD lineup. Compared to similar NanoCell models, it loses the NanoCell technology that boosts dynamic range and color reproduction.
Still, the UHD 87 has a full set of I/O ports found in NanoCell TVs and supports Bluetooth connectivity as well as voice assistance. This model further uses LG's α7 Gen4 AI Processor 4K processor that offers up-to-date support for audio and video processing, among which are Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. It is able to enhance the picture and sound intelligently and automatically without user input.
For gamers, the UHD 87 refreshes at 120Hz and has low input lag.
Besides the UHD 87, LG also markets other more affordable 4K TVs in its 2021 UHD series.
