Product Overview

MSI WF66 is an entry-level 15.6-inch mobile workstation that is based on the chassis of the Katana GF66 gaming laptop unveiled a month before. As its 11UX model name suggests, the WF66 is powered by 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake processors up to Core i7.

Over the Katana, MSI has endowed the WF66 ISV-certified NVIDIA GPUs, though they remain entry-level options. The workstation model adds some security features, such as dTPM 2.0, and drops RGB lighting and one of the NVMe SSD slots, though the two are otherwise alike.

Some notable points include the optional FHD IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. There are also a full-size HDMI port and an RJ45 port alongside WiFi 6 connectivity. Like its 17.3-inch sibling, however, the WF66 11UX does not have Thunderbolt or PCIe Gen4 SSD support.

Alongside the WF66, MSI also refreshed its entire mobile workstation lineup with the new Tiger Lake processors.
