Product Overview

7Artisans 7.5mm F2.8 Mark II is a compact manual-focus fisheye lens designed to work on most popular APS-C mirrorless systems. Like other 7Artisans lenses, it boasts an all-metal construction.
Compared to the original 7.5mm F2.8 Fisheye, this Mark II version retains the 11-element design but is shortened; it also has better correction of optical aberrations.
With its affordable pricing, robust build, and overall good optical performance, this lens is an excellent choice for quirky fisheye / panorama photography. Its relatively wide aperture means that it can also be used for astrophotography.
For APS-C shooters, 7Artisans also offers several standard lenses, including the 60mm F2.8 Macro, 35mm F0.95, 18mm F6.3, and 35mm F1.2 Mark II.

The 7 Artisans 7.5mm F2.8 II (139$) is a excellent fisheye lens that offer very good to excellent sharpness overall. Video results are good, with very good sharpness, smooth background blur and a good color rendering. The corners are already good but need to be closed down to around F5.6 for optimal shaprness. The lens main weakness is the resistance to flare.
